Halo Domes was founded with a single conviction: that the environments we gather in shape the memories we carry. We are not a rental company in the traditional sense. We are an experience studio — one that specializes in dome-like structures, along with linens, lighting, and spatial design.
Based in Surrey and serving events across British Columbia, Halo offers a distinct alternative to traditional event rentals — delivering unique, immersive environments designed to transform how a space looks, feels, and is experienced.

Our dome is a 68m² crossover structure with approximately a 30-foot diameter. It comfortably accommodates 60–80 guests depending on your layout — lounge, dining, or mixed. We'll advise on the best configuration during your site consultation.
Yes. Our dome is built with all-season weatherproof panels and is designed to handle British Columbia's variable weather — including rain and wind. We also monitor forecasts in the lead-up to every event and will advise if conditions require any adjustments to the plan.
Yes — the dome works beautifully both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, it’s perfect for backyards, lawns, parks, and event grounds. Indoors, it’s a striking centrepiece for warehouses, ballrooms, galleries, and other open venues with enough overhead clearance. In either setting it needs a reasonably flat surface and approximately 35+ feet of clear space in each direction. We conduct a pre-event site visit for every booking to confirm dimensions, access, and suitability, so you can book with confidence whether your event is inside or out.
Flooring depends on the setup location and the type of ground or flooring surface underneath the dome.
Typical setup for the dome structure alone is 3–4 hours. Full environment setups — including furniture, lighting, and décor — can take 6–8 hours. We plan our arrival time accordingly and aim to have everything complete well before your event begins.
No. All inventory items can be rented individually, subject to availability.
Absolutely — in fact, most of our clients do. The packages on our Experiences page are starting points. You can mix and match any items from our Rentals page, add items from our add-on menu, or describe something entirely different and we'll tell you if we can make it happen.
We don't list prices publicly because every event is different — your date, location, guest count, rental items, and setup complexity all affect the final investment. After a short discovery conversation, we'll send you a clear, itemized quote with no surprises.
Everything. The Halo team handles full delivery, installation, styling, and post-event removal of all items. You don't lift a finger.
For weddings and large events, we recommend 6–12 months in advance — especially for peak summer and fall dates. Corporate and private events typically book 3–6 months out. That said, if your date is coming up sooner, reach out anyway — we'll let you know what's possible.
We are based in Surrey and primarily serve the Lower Mainland — including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, the North Shore, and the Fraser Valley. We also travel for events across British Columbia. If you're outside the Lower Mainland, contact us and we'll confirm availability and any applicable travel considerations.
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your date. Full payment details, terms, and timelines are outlined in your booking agreement, which we walk you through before anything is signed.
The dome handles most weather conditions — rain, light wind, and cool temperatures are all fine. In cases of extreme weather (high winds, severe weather warnings), we'll work with you to assess options, which may include adjusted placement, additional anchoring, or in very rare cases, rescheduling. Our priority is always guest safety and a great event.
A pre-event site visit is included in all bookings and is something we strongly recommend. It allows us to measure the space, plan the layout, identify any access or surface considerations, and ensure the setup day runs without surprises. For most clients, the site visit is also where the vision really comes to life.

We are committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits our website or contacts us about an event. This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you submit an inquiry or contact form, this typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and any details you share about your event — such as your event date, location, guest count, and the items or services you’re interested in.
When you browse our website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type. This is standard for virtually all websites and is used only to keep the site secure and running properly.
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, coordinate and deliver your event, communicate with you about your booking, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we will not use it for purposes unrelated to serving you without your consent.
Our website currently uses Google Fonts to display its typography, which means your browser may connect to Google’s servers to load those fonts. We do not currently use website analytics or email-marketing tools. If we introduce these in the future — for example, analytics to understand how visitors use our site, or an email service to send updates and offers — we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
We keep your information only as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and business obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it from loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information using appropriate practices.
We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate our business and deliver your event (for example, our website host or, in the future, a payment processor or email service). These providers are only given the information they need and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Under PIPEDA and BC’s PIPA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our use of it (subject to legal and contractual limits). To make any of these requests, just contact us using the details below and we’ll be happy to help.
Our website and services are intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time as our business and the services we use evolve. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

The terms that apply when you book dome structures and event rentals with Halo Domes.

These terms apply to all quotes, bookings, and rentals provided by Halo Domes Inc. (“Halo Domes,” “we,” or “us”). By confirming a booking, you (“the client”) agree to these terms. The specific details for your event will be confirmed in your written quote or rental agreement, which takes precedence if anything differs.
Quotes are based on the items, date, and details you provide and are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. A booking is confirmed once you approve your quote and pay the required deposit. Dates and inventory are reserved on a first-confirmed basis.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before your event as set out in your quote. We’ll confirm exact amounts, due dates, and accepted payment methods in writing.
If you need to cancel or change your booking, please let us know as early as possible. Deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations close to your event date may be subject to additional charges. We’ll always do our best to accommodate date changes, subject to availability.
The client is responsible for the rented items from setup through teardown and for any loss or damage beyond normal wear. Halo Domes is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of the items or from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
The client is responsible for providing a suitable, accessible, and reasonably level site with adequate clear space for the dome and items. We conduct a pre-event site visit for every booking to confirm suitability. Setup and teardown are handled by our team.
Our dome structures are built for all-season use, but we may recommend adjustments for safety in severe weather. We’ll work with you to find the best plan for your event.
Where an event requires permits or property/venue approvals (for example, in parks or public spaces), obtaining them is the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
